  1. 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL Hits Dealer System - 1st Official Look @ Engines, Options, Packages, Features!

That stuff will be in the press materials when they officially reveal the JL. Wouldn't be info that hits dealer systems right now. But it might be the type of info that suppliers/vendors have been provided though. Maybe they'd like to share :bandit:
  2. Say hi to the 2018 Jeep Wrangler JLU

Looks slightly more reclined to me too.
  3. New Jeep Wrangler's LED Strip and Headlights Brightly Lit and Exposed

Maybe the design and material for the new fender light housing is now strong enough to prevent most damage? Or could be that the new longer front bumper better protects the fender mounted lights.
  4. Which JL engine are you most interested in?

If the 4-cylinder turbo is supposed to produce around 300hp, what can we expect from the new V6? Also I hope they offer a manual option with each engine.
  5. Motor Trend: JKU vs. FJ

Reasons why Wrangler still reigns: Wrangler has a unique and classic styling, the only convertible SUV left on the market (I know there's droptop luxury SUVs like the Evoque convertible coming but that's not a true SUV), it's the only SUV where doors come off, it's one of very, very few...
  6. 2018 Wish List

Wants: Decreased NVH, better fuel economy, 5000 pound tow rating. No reason they can't do these things without diminish the off road capabilities or lessening the aftermarket appeal of the car. Less wind noise, tire noise, lighter and sips less gas. I'm sold.
  7. Jeep CEO- new Wrangler "probably" not debuting until second half of 2017

They didn't actually say it wouldn't be the JL, just sounds like the author doesn't expect to be it for a lot of the same reasons already mentioned in this thread. They could still surprise everyone and this statement below also makes it known that they ARE going to reveal something at CES...
  8. Jeep CEO- new Wrangler "probably" not debuting until second half of 2017

We're starting to see more car manufacturers debut new cars at CES for a reason - it's a much bigger media event than any auto show. There's tons more overall press coverage there from big mainstream media outlets and not just automotive media. So debuting a car there allows a car company to...
  9. Any chance of removal top on the New Jeep Wrangler Pickup?

That does looks like freedom panels on the prototype's roof. I hope even more panels are removable though, like the part over the rear cab and also the rear window. Something like this sketch would be cool!
  10. 2018 Jeep Wrangler Roof Design Previewed in Clay Models

If there's a soft top I'd rather it be manually installed and removed. Automated roof is just another moving part to malfunction or break.
  11. Wrangler front end/design?

After looking at the Crew Chief pickup concept it got me questioning whether the Pickup will actually share the same Wrangler front end/grille design? Kind of hoping they do something different with it instead of just giving the Wrangler a flat bed and calling it a day.
  12. Any chance of removal top on the New Jeep Wrangler Pickup?

LOVE the Crew Chief Would buy this in a heartbeat!
  13. 2018 Jeep Wrangler (JL) First Sighting! Spy pics of prototype.

Maybe there is a bigger front bumper underneath to more easily mount a winch or lights?
  14. New Jeep Wrangler to include gasoline, diesel, mild hybrid, full hybrid

Imagine the range anxiety when guys are off road in wilderness in their electric Jeep lol.
