When I installed my Metalcloak GC 3.5 lift I followed their instructions as well and my axles were still too far pulled in. Now granted I have a 2dr but still. And no need to take it somewhere for the alignment you can do that by yourself in your garage at home. That guy with a ponytail...
Your Jeep looks great. However, looking at these springs it appears your lower control arms need adjusted out for more caster/alignment. Keep an eye on pinion angles after you push the axles out as well.
@spurly check out the Maximus-3 carrier. If I had it to do over again that’s the one I’d go with. I really like my motobilt one but the Maximus-3 seems to be better engineered.
Sorry for the late reply but yes I did paint it my self using “Steel-it” black. That stuff is awesome it lays really nice and it also blends really nice. I like the tire carrier itself but if I had to do it over again I’d go with the Maximus-3 carrier. It has heavy duty hinges and the carrier...
@Chris Dobbins thanks for posting that. For what’s it’s worth I’ve got 200mi on my new dual friction and haven’t had any issues. I’ve been driving it easy per break-in instructions. Do you have a picture of that bracket that holds the cables to the transmission? I took mine off and left it off...
I was going to start my own thread on my centerforce clutch but I’ll just contribute to this one instead especially since toycrusher helped me out and answered the numerous questions I had haha ( shoutout to @Toycrusher ) First thing is if you have a 2 door dropping the fuel tank is not...
Thats good to hear. I have a 2dr manual with muffler delete as well. I know on turbo cars when you add an intake you can hear the turbo noises plain as day, just wondering how this supercharger would do with an intake. I would think it would be more audible.
If you’ve installed a muffler delete and would like to get rid of your passenger side exhaust hanger bracket let me know how much you want for it. Thanks
WTB- in need of passenger side exhaust hanger bracket. If any of you that has done a muffler delete don’t need yours let me know what you want for it.
@mjaga and @Trauma Jeep after installing the sound deadening material I have indeed noticed it’s a little quieter inside. I didn’t use any db meters or anything so I don’t have any scientific data but it is a little quieter.
