I have a factory steel bumper and like the fact it is a two in one. take off the ends for wheeling. with a WARN winch plate install, the bumper is reinforced at the frame rails with heavy duty brackets and can be flat towed. The WARN winch plate kit goes beyond just the need in installing a winch. It's heavier and has more components than the completion for good reason.

I installed mine having the controller box in a remote location. it makes the bumper clean looking.

That's pretty much what I want ours to look like, although I may try the Badland winch.
Did you order the cross bar on the top or did the bumper already have it?
I should have had the dealership throw one on before we got the rig.

I assume my 2019 Rubicon was a fully optioned order sent to the dealer. Some are destined for show room. The original owner got it mid 2022 with only 20 miles on it. It is a factory bar and probably was a dealer addon.. no mention on original windows sticker nor on the build sheet.

On my '22 392 I have this aluminum stubby from Next Venture Motorsports. It is a stout winch mount with a superlight aluminum skin over the top. It doesn't work with the factory fog lights, but they make a mount for fog lights behind the skid plate that work well with the Baja Design fogs I have mounted there.

On my other Jeep, a '23 JT Mojave, I have this Motobilt Crusher Series stubby bumper. It has no provisions for the stock fog lights.

On my other, other Jeep, a '25 JLR, I have this bumper. It works well with the stock fog lights.

Rival 4x4 USA full width steal bumper with bull bar and recovery points.

I have a 2022 JLUR XR w/35s and a SOT top. Let me say I’m about the furthest thing from a mechanic that someone can get. Just didn’t get that gene from the long line of mechanically inclined ancestors in my family. I did get the software developer gene, so it worked out for me.

Ordered the full width stamped steel for the JL. Even though the instructions are mediocre the install isn't that difficult except for pieces not lining up. Pieces not lining up exactly probably doubled the time and effort and creativeness needed to install the bumper. The original fog lamps did fit, with a bit of adjustment.

The fit and finish of the bumper and other parts right out of the box had some noticeable damage, but after having the bumper on for just a month it's already showing chips in the finish and rust. I was very careful in handling the parts during installation. I laid a blanket down on the ground so that the bumper would not get scratched while being installed. The bull bar right out of the box already has paint bubbling and I would expect that it will start peeling in a couple of weeks.

If I was grading, I'd give overall look and design an A, Fit/Alignment a C, Finish a B-, and Instructions a D.

I will say I reported this to Rival and they stood behind everything. They sent me, for free, the spray paint to touch up the bumper. I had also ordered their steal front lower skid plate, without me even asking, the refunded the full price of the skid plate and sent it to me no charge. Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better response from a manufacturer. I would buy it all again from them.

The bumper and bull bar have plenty of space and holes predrilled for lights and light bars and anything else I could want to put on it.

I had purchased a Badlands Apex winch, but it was just too thick to fit in the cutout for the winch. The Apex is a big boy. Not wanting to cut on and take a grinder to my new bumper, I’m not that good with power tools. I ended up putting it on my wife’s 2024 JLUR X that came with the mopar steel bumper. I’m searching for a slightly thinner yet capable winch for my Wrangler.

Ironman 4x4 is nice stuff and it actually has a crash test rating. Rigid fog's wired to factory fog light switch( had to change connector) Auxiliary lights, wired to aux switch as well as compressor. Never needed a winch but always need air.

I really liked my Rival 4x4 aluminum bumper. It looks good and is well built. I had one on my Jeep that burned up and the only reason I don't have one on my new Jeep is that it came with the factory winch. If I could sell the stock winch and bumper for enough money to do the Rival bumper and a Torrix winch I would.

Nice that you can get a cover on the winch. My cutout doesn't give me enough clearance.

It's very tight, and doesn't go down in front of the grille, but it stays put. My guy did an amazing job getting everything to fit without cutting the grille.
