No pics today, but went from Sky 365 roof to Bestop Sunrider. Sunrider was delivered yesterday, just in time for it to rain all week after being sunny for days.
If the second test confirms the first test of alternator being bad, then the only reason to not try replacing the alternator is if you don't trust the first or the second place, in which case might as well take it to a mechanic you do trust.
There's a lot of if this then what in your question...
As @vaJLUR said, I'd first get under the car and shake things to see what's making the noise. Or just have someone shake the car or turn the steering wheel while you're under there to see what makes noise and go from there. If you don't want to deal with it and just want to start throwing money...
Given the cost of these and inclusion of glass coverage in my car insurance, I passed on these. As some people who've tried various windshield protectors have mentioned (I feel like there were a couple in one of Exoshield threads too), the protector itself may not get damaged, but with a small...
Get some offers from Carvana, etc. and see where the actual baseline is.
From what I've experienced, general public actually prefers stock cars, and even from enthusiast perspective, unless the buyer wants those exact same mods, they're going to prefer stock car and build it out how they want...
FWIW, my JL that my wife surprised me with back in March (21 JLU Sahara with 62k miles) was around the price that you're seeing. It was within top 3 of similarly spec'd Wranglers in terms of price with initial listed pricing of 24k that my wife haggled down. It has a bit of rust on the door...
Both rubber and silicone hoses definitely have their pros and cons. Just gotta weigh each and tailor it to your need. FWIW, by the time seepage gets extreme or rubber cracks, it's probably tens of thousands of miles, in which case it's probably time to examine all rubber hoses anyway. But in the...
Did they knowingly volunteer to pay to be beta testers? Or did you mean manual transmission Wranglers were shit and Stellantis screwed them over? In which case, that sucks too and they definitely should be mad and not recommend manual Wranglers to others.
Nope.
Ultimately, a tank or even a radiator probably won't have an effect on the actual temp. I haven't measured how fast the temps climb or anything like that, and if there is an difference, that's probably where it'd make a difference. But in the end, I'd imagine that with enough continued...

Not really a common thing to need. But you could be the guinea pig and try it out. Like I did with the elbow.
Lol. As opposed to... get hit with a Jeep with stock bumper or any other car with any other bumper? What? Just don't get hit by a Jeep with the bumper or don't hit anyone with your Jeep. Or rather with any car that you drive.
I didn't realize this wasn't common sense...
You just proved my...
It most definitely does. When pushing it in though, gotta push it all the way past like the second stop. It catches once then you push it further and it pushes in all the way and catches again.
Did a 30 minute drive, and no leaks at any junctions so far.
The spots and insulation stained pink is...
Just kidding. I got bored today and did the elbow and the Y junction.
So I now have MIshimoto, aluminum elbow, aluminum T with silicone hose, baja T, and aluminum Y junction. Aside from doing more silicone pipes (which I'm not going to do because then I'd have to take the whole thing apart...
I'd still rather not have the vehicle catch on fire and burn my house down.
Tbh I don't know what mods and stuff you're talking about here, but those are aftermarket and mods. Not directly from manufacturer. And yes, they will have failures. Some people like you are more tolerant of...
I'm gonna be perfectly honest here; given the make up of emissions by sector, a small minority of people swapping over to a PHEV isn't going to make any changes in emissions. And until infrastructure and charging technology gets to the point where it's no longer a hassle to charge AND the price...
I honestly didn't need to do any of these replacement because the dealership the car came from did a water pump/coolant hose replacement in their reconditioning process and the parts look brand spanking new. But I did it anyway to hopefully get ahead of issue creeping up, because these rubber...
The item comes with clamps. I put those closest to the connection points, and then put OEM clamp right next to it as well. Probably don't need to, but connection points were long enough to accommodate two clamps, so why not.
