just curious; have you NOT been using the AC while out in the Dez? 😰
i set mine on Auto, pick a a temperature, and leave it there to do its thing. works well enough (especially above crawling speeds) and i rarely see the kinds of engine temps some folks are complaining about even with our diesel.
and some insurance companies i've talked to won't cover any vehicle that has been modified to have its Center of Gravity higher than stock.
ask questions. get details.
actually, i don't believe the EcoD cost anywhere near $6K more than a similarly equipped JL with a similar auto transmission.
i know mine didn't,..
and few people figure in that the EcoD got Dana 44s automatically, even if it wasn't a Rubicon.
probably used a Teraflex Tire Carrier to fit the 37s, and mounted it to the stock bits; that's what i did at first.
then i added the Mopar Performance Tailgate 'Reinforcement'.
and my tailgate twisted anyway.
i would add the Teraflex Alpha HD Tailgate reinforcement to the list that TheGrendel...
i'm still rather fond of the torque i get out of the EcoD.
and 28.5 MPG gave me range that was unbeatable.
(no, i don't get MPG like that any more with everything i've done to it but i'm not aware of any current powerplant that would be doing any better... and i still get the torque.)
so far, links we've seen (that we can attribute to Dana) have sometimes called out synthetic lube, and other times they haven't specified synthetic or not. conflict, or just a lack of specificity?
even our J**p manuals specify 2 different weights.
Eaton will specify a non-synthetic if you use...
yup. and perhaps.
wasn't necessarily about trying to "prove/disprove" anything; just couldn't find that spec online anywhere, and like to verify/validate. now appears it's a copy of a file someone saved of something someone else made years ago, so possibly no longer available online (and...
OK, so you don't have the links to what you posted.
thanks anyway!
(and yes, i know i have D44s, and what lube Eaton recommends for the TADs i have in them.)
i had slightly less mileage than you when i did a brake fluid flush on my '21 a while back and was surprised at how much of an improvement there was in brake pedal feel. made me feel like it was overdue, and i will be doing it again a little bit sooner next time.
good in theory, but doesn't test out as necessary.
could be because i'm using the Teraflex rear carrier which has significantly more contact area; never tried it with the stock carrier.
finally replaced the stock rear bumper that i'd, uh, *modified* on trail over the years,..
Rock Hard (Aluminum).
definitely required a bit of grinding to mount, but meets the need.
yeah, seems logical, doesn't it?
but i don't find anything there about Lubricants, or links that obviously connect to lubricants,..
got any suggestions for links directly related to lubes?
correct, there isn't a BID specifically for the Turbo Temp for a 3.0 either.
Banks suggested the EGR1/1 for monitoring EGTs, and they do have Turbine Inlet & Outlet Temp options for those who care.
