LOL With this style of connector in general, I’ve found sometimes forcing the connectors together to relieve some tension, then depressing the latch helps. Sometimes they feel like they’re glued together,
I used a Minn Kota 2 bank x 10 amp charger at the time. Not very compact. We also had quads and used a Noco Wall Mount that had 4 banks. Also quite a bit larger than what’s available now

I added a dual battery set up in an older GMC Sierra 4x4 using a Blue Sea 7622 and thought it was a simple solution. For those of us who nod off in the battery forum, in simple and short terms, why not use an ACR with dual batteries in the JL instead of the Genesis system? Thanks

The battery exspurts can be a cantankerous bunch…except for @THAW who seems ok most days. Every once in a while @Mguy is pretty ok as welL and even lets his sense of humor show from time to time.
Right…way above my pay grade and like I said probably unnecessary in most cases including mine. Trusses are on my list. Maybe they negate any need for an improved diff cover,

I have no expertise and am just repeating what @chevymitchell and @grimmjeeper have said. Under load, the housing will deflect causing the gears to not mesh completely. This deflection, for people that wheel hard, is something to keep in mind as the stock cover isn't designed to do anything...
