Me? Nada. I take my JL and my wife's GC to our local garage every 6-months for oil change and other routine scheduled maintenance. We've been taking our cars there for 10-12 years.
Many still drive with a suspension or revo. We once arrested a man with 20+ revos and susp. on his record. IMO jail is the only solution...remove the problem from the road. Driving a vehicle on a public roadway is a privlege, not a right.
None of the above. Been buying vehicles for nearly 60-years and have been thru all of it at one time or another. We learned a long time ago to blunt the promises of a dealer by doing a bit of research before entering the showroom. Scratches happen. We've always kept our cars 12-14 years and...
Before the 4-track we had a 12v 45rpm record player mounted under the dash and supported on the transmission hump. As i recall we could stack a half-dozen 45's. Worked pretty well...as long as the road was fairly smooth. Then came the 4-track followed by the 8-track, then the cassette player...
They were all excellent trips but of those I listed the self-guided tour of Monument Valley and the off-road ride thru the back country in South Dakota were extra special. In an earlier trip we took the guided tour thru Monument Valley but it doesn't give much time to really absorb your...
We used to tow our stock '03 2d TJ and, later, our stock '10 Liberty behind our motor home. We mostly went west in most of our trips. We did the General Crook trail and the Mogollon Rim; self-guided tour thru Monument Valley in AZ; off-road (legally) thru parts of Custer State Park and Wind...
Nada. Had a very pleasant buying experience in '23 buying our 2-door hardtop JL. Bought a soft top and running boards at the same time. Dealer kept the JL to install the running boards and salesman delivered the JL to our home a few days later where we finalized the deal.
A few weeks later...
In my 30-yr career many of the auto accidents with serious injury or fatalities were attributed to lack of seatbelt use. Use it for those you may leave behind.

It is statistically true that most auto accidents happen close to home, with studies showing 52% of accidents occur within 5 miles...
I'm surprised they're still in business. I remember when the LoJacks first hit the market. One of the police depts. in our system made a few impressive stolen car recoveries and arrests using LoJack.
I love my 2-door 3.6 V6, auto, soft top JL especially when I can lower the top but it almost has too much tech. I was capable to take care of many routine maintenance items on my '03 TJ (but chose to have my garage do it) but not on my JL. With complexity comes service issues.
