Adding a powered sub to the alpine system

Hey guys, I just got my JLUR yesterday and am not that happy with the sub that came with it. I have a powered subwoofer in my other car and was wondering if I would be able to add it onto the alpine system in the Jeep. The powered sub I have is the Rockford Fosgate P-300 Punch. Would it be an easy install?

Can anyone point me in the right direction to add a powered sub onto the Alpine system? I'm thinking it should be simple, but I'm not well versed in this so any help would be appreciated!

Those damn Alpine guys. Why can't they learn to make a decent system? Same for Bose and Harman Karden. Why do car manufacturers go with these inferior brands when instead they could use brands no one has heard of?

I don’t see any reason why u couldn’t. I just had a powered JL sub wired up in my 2019, I do not have the alpine system though. If u have the auxiliary switches on your JL, it is very easy. Find the aux wires under the passenger side dash, they are wrapped up in black tape, just cut it off to expose the 4 wires. Run power from the battery wire and find a suitable ground near your sub. Then run a remote wire from one of the aux wires and you should be good to go.
