Being that the Rubicon will accept 35" tires without any mods I'm interested in a set of beadlock wheels that have the same backspacing and close to the same width as the stock wheels. I assume the stock backspacing on the JL is 6 inches as it was on the JK.
What options are there for aftermarket beadlocks with 6" of back spacing?

Mopar makes beadlocks for the JL but they are 4.4" backspacing, not 6". I would think 6" bs would rub on the frame with 35s...

With a 7.5" wide rim 6" seems like a lot of backspace. I am interested in a Hutchingson beadlock rim. I believe Hutchingson made a beadlock for Mopar back in the early JK days.

Stock wheels are fine for 35x12.50 tires. I agree with what others have said regarding backspacing in the 4.5ā€ range being appropriate.

Raceline has a couple of options as well as Hutchinson and AEV.

The Hutchinsons look great, but I have yet to find them in a 17" for less than $483 each. If you can't mount and balance them yourself, a shop is going to charge you more to mount/assemble/balance. I love the idea, but that's a lot of cash.

I can cut you a little slack on the Hutchinsons and ship them for free if you're interested. I'd want to check availability before we jumped too far off into it, but shoot me a PM if you'd like some help!

Maybe a stupid question since there are two Jeeps shown with the AEV Borah wheels on it but is there any issue with fit on the JL with those? I thought I read somewhere at some point that the wheel size/fit was different and no manufacturers that I've seen are advertising that they will fit the JL...I'm debating buying the Borah wheels but want to make sure they will fit...judging from pics above I think I'm ok but trying to be sure before I spend close to $400/wheel...

The AEV Borah are the correct pattern and backspacing. AEV somewhat specializes their wheels to each vehicle. The Borah was made for the JK which has been determined will also work on a JL with no issue. Youā€™ll just need the newer/correct sized lug nuts used on the JL
