Purchase ESS disabler that remembers last setting. Shut it off and now forget it completely.
Remove aux battery. Use it for fun little projects around your place. The battery is fine the designed system itās in is the problem.
Connect the aux batteries positive and negative cables to...
Iād guess youād see more benefit changing the oil at the half way point vs. the filter.
Go to 10k leave the filter for the duration, but change the oil at 5k.
I said this 3 years ago. 1st page of the oil thread list.
List of Chrysler MS-12991 Engine Oil for the 3.0 EcoDiesel Jeep Wrangler
IIRC I tried to enlighten folks, but it didn't work.
ETA: Not here. I think I was going back and forth with a guy on a different forum.
For anyone thinking of ordering make sure you arenāt getting old stock or youāll have to send your new lights back for the upgrade.
If you order from Baja Designs directly youāll get the latest version.
Better? Not mine, but I think on average we only lost 2-3 mpg going to 37ās. I donāt think Iāve ever seen more than a touch under 26mpg Highway on 37ās. Having said that I never saw 30mpg on stock tires. Think we saw 28.xx once.
I've been waiting to buy 3 sets. I already have one set of SAE squadrons, and I didn't want to have to turn around and send these new ones back as well. Figured I'd wait until they were released and then order. With this new info. I'll definitely order now instead.
That will work. These items will be considered sold pending funds. I just need to make sure to remind myself to bring them with me when we head over the mountains. I'll PM you my phone number and your folks can contact me at their leisure.
Back up for sale.
Fell through. Still available.
Yep. I see you're in Moscow, I go to Spokane every other weekend if you're interested in getting this stuff face to face no shipping. I'd shave $50 off of everything. $375 total you come pick it up in Spokane on a Friday or Saturday.
Do you have bumper mounted aux. lights currently?
IMO lights along the roof line are less useful than lights at bumper level. In any sort of inclement weather they are pretty much useless. Dust, same. Hood glare, common. Wind noise, better expect it.
Now for the amount of light you can throw...
Gotcha. I usually keep my vehicles for a much longer time than you. Iām 45 and Iāve only owned 10 with a few of those being rigs my wife drives (and we still own 4 of them!).
If any issues were to arise Iād usually fix them myself or use it as an excuse to upgrade. But what youāre describing...
I didnāt read the whole thread, have you taken it to the dealer? To me this doesn sound like a fix it yourself deal. Sure it could be something easy like the harness thing folks are mentioning, but Iād take it in as many times as need be to get them to recreate the issue. Either that or Iād...
I donāt recall a diesel fuel treatment ever saying too much would harm your system. Having said that, I wouldnāt doubt one of the rescue fuel gel deals would, but the normal use stuff is pretty safe as far as the ratio goes.
