  1. Reading codes with OBDII bluetooth device and with a ESS overide device installed

So unmarried and removed the Tazer from hers, reset the speedo, turned off the ESS and shut down the TPMS with Jscan while she resets the monitors so I can it past a NY inspection. Once that is done, I will go back and turn the TPMS back on, lower the TPMS threshold and re-enable the ESS and...
  2. Is the SGW vin specific?

If anyone was wondering, it is not. Plugged mine into her Jeep and all seems well. I will try to get it inspected in a few weeks after the monitors reset.
  3. P026C Hoping my solution is the solution.

CEL never came back. Like i said, I guess too much air coming in will trigger the light with the code fuel pressure too low.
  4. Oil Cooler leaked and then stopped

Thanks all for the comments and pix.
  5. Oil Cooler leaked and then stopped

Idk. Oil level seems fine now. Oil was changed 5000 miles ago.
  6. Oil Cooler leaked and then stopped

Not sure. Gonna change the oil and send some out for a UOA
  7. Oil Cooler leaked and then stopped

So I had some liquid covering some of the front diff and I thought that I needed a front pinion seal but it seemed to be too thin for gear oil. Took it to the shop and they said that the leak was from the oil cooler. I checked the oil and the level was fine and I changed it 5000 miles ago. Drove...

From the PAC instructions: "Setting the chime volume using the programming button 1. Start with the level control knob turned all the way down (counter-clockwise). 2. Press the programming button on the side of the interface. 3. LED 1 will turn green and the chimes will begin continuously...
  9. Is the SGW vin specific?

I have a Tazer installed in her ā€˜21 JLURD and the NY inspection is coming due. I was planning to unmarry the Tazer, use JScan to set the tire size and tpms threshold and plug the SGW back in to get the monitors to reset. Reason Iā€™m asking is when I installed the speaker pods in my ā€˜22 I forgot...
  10. Trying to get a NY Inspection

Got it all figured out. Hers is up next month so this weekend, Iā€™m going to unmarry and pull the Tazer, use JScan to set the tire size and tpms threshold, and drive it to make sure the Cat and O2 monitors reset before the end of the month.
  11. Reading codes with OBDII bluetooth device and with a ESS overide device installed

@Rhinebeck01 thanks. I will be getting one of those and going back to JSCAN. I will just lose the boost gauge but the next inspection should be much simpler. No to figure out where to put the sgw because I forgot to reinstall it when I installed pods for the Quart Stage 6 upgrade. Right now the...
  12. Change tire size without leaving the dongle in place.

@Rhinebeck01 I work in the car business in NY so I know about the the new inspection process. We both have JLURDā€™s. Herā€™s has a Tazer as well and I seem to be the guinea pig for trying to get these inspected. Seems I have JSCAN but havenā€™t used it as their ESS disabler will also disable the...
  13. Reading codes with OBDII bluetooth device and with a ESS overide device installed

So if an autostop eliminator is installed, will the NY inspection computer be able to ā€œseeā€ past it to read the monitors?
  14. Change tire size without leaving the dongle in place.

Thanks @Chupacabra for that. Seems I might have to use JSCAN to set the tires and remove the Tazer a few weeks before NY inspection to make sure that the regen reset happens. NY dies not hook up their computer for inspection until it;s two years old and that seems to be the reason that this...
  15. Change tire size without leaving the dongle in place.

So what I am running into is that it seems the NY Inspection computer canā€™t read through the Tazer, so I unmarried it and reconnected the SGW. I have a diesel and the O2 and Cat Monitors need to reset and according to GDE, the monitors will not reset until 600-1000 miles after a regen.
  16. Change tire size without leaving the dongle in place.

The Tazer seems to be blocking the NY inspection computer from reading the monitors. I pulled the Tazer and it reset the mono so it needs to be driven. Now my speedometer is off.
  17. Change tire size without leaving the dongle in place.

Wondering if there is some way besides paying the dealer to get the tire size reset without leaving a dongle in place of the sgw. I used a pro-cal on the JK but with the SGW, it seems that there is not a way to ā€œtellā€ the Jeep that Iā€™m on 37ā€™s without leaving it in place.
  18. Trying to get a NY Inspection

@Rhinebeck01 thanks. Got backed up with the inspection because I had to get the windshield replaced. So glad I paid extra for Gorilla Glass ;). That was worth it. I'll just keep driving it. Thanks for your help.
  19. Trying to get a NY Inspection

@Rhinebeck01 becasue I pulled the Tazer about 150 miles ago am I stuck? GDE says that I might have to go 600-1000 miles after a regen to get the Cat and O2 monitors to reset.
  20. Trying to get a NY Inspection

I did unmarry and remove the Tazer and reconnected the SGW. Not sure if unplugging that would cause a battery disconnect that would necessitate that monitors would need to be reset. Drove it 150 miles after that and the monitors did not reset.
