  1. Oil Cooler leaked and then stopped

So I had some liquid covering some of the front diff and I thought that I needed a front pinion seal but it seemed to be too thin for gear oil. Took it to the shop and they said that the leak was from the oil cooler. I checked the oil and the level was fine and I changed it 5000 miles ago. Drove...
  2. Is the SGW vin specific?

I have a Tazer installed in her ‘21 JLURD and the NY inspection is coming due. I was planning to unmarry the Tazer, use JScan to set the tire size and tpms threshold and plug the SGW back in to get the monitors to reset. Reason I’m asking is when I installed the speaker pods in my ‘22 I forgot...
  3. Change tire size without leaving the dongle in place.

Wondering if there is some way besides paying the dealer to get the tire size reset without leaving a dongle in place of the sgw. I used a pro-cal on the JK but with the SGW, it seems that there is not a way to “tell” the Jeep that I’m on 37’s without leaving it in place.
  4. Trying to get a NY Inspection

So I am trying to get an inspection on my ‘22 JLURD. It will not pass for the O2 monitor and the Cat monitor not ready.I have a GDE tune and they are saying that I have to drive it 600-1000 miles after a DPF regen. Is there a way to force a regen to start the monitor cycle or a way to see when...
  5. Do I need new ball joints?

Running 37” KO2’s with a Mopar lift on my ‘22 JLURD. Just about to pass 70k. Got some DW about 15 months ago so I added a set of MC Geometry brackets to get the caster angle back to a bit over 7 degrees and that killed the DW. Now I get a bit of occasional shake at 60. I jacked up the each side...
  6. P026C Hoping my solution is the solution.

22 JLURD at 60k. I got the P026C code. Fuel quantity lower than expected. With the HPFP recall it kind of sends you this direction to get the pump replaced under the recall. I had the recall done and the light kept coming on. I kept resetting it and it would come back on anywhere from 50 to 120...
  7. Mopar lift with Fox Shocks

Can anyone recommend a front shock to replace a failed shock on my 22 JLURD with a Mopar Fox lift?
  8. 68316574aa Mopar Fox front shock

Got a bunch of crickets on the suspension forum. Hoping someone here might have an answer. Seems the cap has fallen off from the bottom of the RF shock of my Mopar Fox lift. According to the install sheet, that is the part number of the shock. The interwebs can’t seem to find that part number...
  9. 68316574aa Mopar lift for diesel front shock need one

So I had the mopar lift installed last year at the dealer and I noticed a squeak and creak noise from the front and the cap on the bottom of the shock reservoir has come off. According to the instruction sheet, 68316574aa is the part number and it seems that it is not available on its own. Any...
  10. Adding power locks

Pretty sure that iy impractical, but a friend of mine has a Willys XR without power convenience and now wants power locks. Any easy and inexpensive way to do this?
  11. Weird radio issue

So I left work last week and was jamming the radio (8.4) and I tried to turn it down and it was all or nothing. 0 was mute but 1 was full blast. Tried shutting it off, open and close the door to no avail. Ended up stopping on the way home and pulling the negative cable and that seemed to fix it...
  12. Lubrication of TeraFlex tailgate hinge

I installed a TeraFlex taingate hinge kit along with their adjustable tire carrier for my 37" BFG. I love how sturdy this item is but the hinge has gotten stiffer with use. I contacted TF and they said the only way to lube it is to remove the tailgate. Any lube that might work without ruining...
  13. Fuel pump recall finally gets to us.

Seems that they are now including 2022 in the fuel pump recall. Just noticed it. Recall 01A. Nice to see that they are taking care of us newer Ecodiesels as well.
  14. What is this crossmember for and why do I need it?

So I am looking to install some Metalcloak Geometry Brackets and they are using the bolts on that first crossmember that is covering the oil pan and and attached to the transmission crossmember. What is it there for? Metalcloak says that it is removed from most lifted Jeeps so that the front...
  15. Chasing the cold weather death wobble

22 JLURD with a Mopar lift and 37” KO2’s. Talked to a tech at the dealership that I work for and there is a not a TSB for the steering stabilizer. They could not get after a month so I replaced it with a Fox TS. Should have realized that everyone here is correct in that it’s never the...
  16. Seems they changed to stabilizer mounting bolt and didn't bother to tell us.

Instead of waiting for FCA to get me a new stabilizer to take care of the not a TSB, I am getting a Fox unit to match the rest of my Mopar lift. Also the dealer can order only one per week and others have mentioned that they are still waiting on one after 4+ months. Saw this and ordered a couple...
  17. Occasional DW….

2022 diesel with 29000 miles and I am experiencing occasional DW. I work at the dealership and they are ordering me a new stabilizer under warranty and in reference to the not a TSB yet. No other issues. Should I just upgrade the stabilizer. I already have the Mopar lift and 37” KO2’s on Mopar...
  18. Bosch CP4 Fuel pump operational mode review by Green Diesel Engineering

User Keith Diesel from the Gladiator forum posted this. He is also an engineer for GDE: This is copied from GDE, it does pertain to all GEN3 ecodiesel engines and might be useful for some. The CP4 Bosch fuel pump has been in the field since 2008 model year with European OEMs in both 1-plunger...

  20. Fog light aim

I tired a phillips screwdriver as I had seen elsewhere but that did not work. I looked a pic of the back of one and it looks like I can fit an allen bit into the aiming mechanism. Am I correct? Anyone know what will fit?
