That’s a fair point and a good question. I did find I can put the passenger side down but not the driver. So far it hasn’t been an issue and I leave the screen on the Wolfbox off when driving so I don’t even notice it. If the visor ever becomes an issue then I’ll reassess.

If you spend enough time on the derailing Reddit boards you’ll see a lot of recommendations for Solution Finish. It works extremely well. I recommend using that and after a few days hit the areas with a good ceramic coat.

That’s where I had mine before. It was nice and tucked away but when towing up grades I did not like having to keep glancing down constantly. Having it up and on the dash was much better for me.

If you aren’t using an OBD2 monitor of some sort with your diesel, you are doing yourself a disservice in my opinion. Watching EGT’s to ensure proper turbo cooldown before shutting the engine off, regens, being able to monitor coolant and oil temps without having to have Off-road pages up, etc...

This happened to me Greg. It was after one of my three “free” oil changes. Apparently the tech dumped oil out of the filter when changing it and there is a small valley on top of the engine where it collected. This allowed small drops to run down the block to the oil cooler.

It’s very subjective on your driving habits. If you idle a lot or tow you’ll burn a lot more vs highway miles.
