If you aren’t using an OBD2 monitor of some sort with your diesel, you are doing yourself a disservice in my opinion. Watching EGT’s to ensure proper turbo cooldown before shutting the engine off, regens, being able to monitor coolant and oil temps without having to have Off-road pages up, etc are all extremely useful.

I previously had my Scangauge 2 mounted to the transmission tunnel just in front of the selector. While it was nicely tucked away and unobtrusive, it was hard to monitor it when going up steep grades or towing since I would have to look down. I wanted something eye level or close to it, similar to the off-road pages being up. I found this mount on Etsy and used it in conjunction with a Ram 1” ball, 67Designs mini arm with 1” end to 22mm end which attached to the 67D rail.

I’ll snap a photo of it later but you can see it in my recent video for my navigation setup

Can't use a monitor since my OBDII port is being used for my SDI eclicks

That’s where I had mine before. It was nice and tucked away but when towing up grades I did not like having to keep glancing down constantly. Having it up and on the dash was much better for me.

you can not. The Banks is too data greedy to share. I've tried on several different splitters.
Interesting- I got a splitter with the Pedal Monster- gauge combo. Required with also a Derringer tuner. I haven’t installed it, but got it for possible future use.

I did it by removing the driver side handle bar (2x10mm bolts), pry the speaker cover out (to cleanly remove the handle bar) and there is a channel down into the foot well. Use a fishing line to pull the cable from the hole between the windshield and speaker, and bolt back the handle bar & place the speaker cover back.
I just used the Velcro strips that came with Scangauge2.
